Katy Moore is a successful and talented actress, singer, presenter and writer. She has had an extensive and varied career in stage and music theatre as well as TV and film.
Katy received a Durban Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role of Red Riding Hood in Into The Woods with Kickstart Theatre Company, 2014.
Trained at Cumbria Institute of the Arts in BA Performing Arts, she is originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne and spent 8 years working in South Africa.
Katy created a series called ‘The Adventures of Lily and Bubble’ which is currently in development. It is a story of two friends discovering the world through engineering.
Katy is an experienced voice artist. She has voiced for radio commercials in the UK and South Africa as well as dubbing many television soap operas globally. She was the voice of Trace TV TOP 10.
Katy recently filmed Judge Rinder Crime Stories for ITV and she is featured in a global Persil commercial campaign.
Other performances include playing Carly in Emmerdale directed by Duncan Foster. Presenter for online insurer BrokerClicks.
Katy performed in Who Wants to be a Volunteer, a short film for a SAIH.

Katy played Velma Kelly in ‘Chicago’ Kickstart Theatre Company, 2017. She performed the lead role of Jane Barclay in a new adaptation of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ and played Emilia in a national South African tour of ‘Othello’
